Bandai Namco cancels "at least" 5 unannounced projects
Result of a more rigorous stance towards the game catalog
Bandai Namco, home to major releases such as the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise and Tekken 8, is undergoing a quality strategy overhaul. Structural changes have necessitate drastic actions, including the decision to cancel at least five unannounced projects.

After the last quarter’s report, wich indicated a reduction in revenues and a decline in the number of entries, the company opted for a review of its catalog, adopting a more rigorous approach in the selection of games. Therefore, a representative of the publisher stated, “Five projects have been canceled along with online games support”.
The company did not provide further details, and it’s possible that the contents will be shelved indefinitely.
