DECK NINE, PRODUCER OF LIFE IS STRANGE: TRUE COLORS LAID OFF 20% OF ITS EMPLOYEES

Deck Nine, the game developer behind titles such as Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Life is Strange: True Colors, has laid off 20% of its employees.

In a message shared on its social media channels, the U.S.-based studio announced that it has been affected by the worsening conditions in the video game industry market, leading them to make the difficult decision to let go of employees.

The leaders of the studio state that the decision was not made lightly and request that anyone who can hire them does so, as they describe themselves as highly talented individuals.

On social media, captured and shared on ResetEra, several employees reacted and added that the directors reduced salaries to avoid laying off more employees.
