A leak may have revealed that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree would arrive on the game's anniversary

Like the original game, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has been without news for quite some time since its announcement. However, it seems that the release date for the 2022 GOTY DLC may have leaked due to a partnership with Thrustmaster.

On the ‘Gaming Leaks and Rumors’ Reddit forum, some users found evidence that Thrustaster will have a partnership with Bandai Namco to release a customized controller fot the game(information was found on the Data Blitz store). However, what’s intriguing is the descripton of the new controller.

In the presentation, it was stated that there will be new collaboration for future ‘surprises’ or ‘updates’ in 2025, with new designs for controllers inspired by the FromSoftware game. Despite being vahue, the document suggests the possibility of additional content arriving later.

Despite everything still being just a rumor, there’s a detail that draws a lot of attention and adds more credibility to the leak: all the images are being quickly removed. Even uploads on other platforms are being taken dow, implying thet Bandai Namco and Thrustmaster are issuing strikes on the photos.
