The first Uncharted game could get a remake, says rumor

The first chapter of Uncharted could be the next target in the big wave of remakes for PS5

After Until Dawn had a remake announced during the last State of Play, and with the recent remastered re-release of The Last of Us Part 2 on PS5, it seems that Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, the first game in the franchise, could be the next target in this wave of revivals.

It’s still just a rumor, but insiders Nick Baker and John Clarke from the XboxEra podcast claim that the first chapter of the Uncharted saga is on the radar.

In their conversation, the duo ended up revealing that both learned about this from independent sources with no direct connections between them. The project would have been conceived years ago, and at very least, “was seriously considered by Sony” to move the idea forward.

While more concrete evidence is still lacking to support these rumours, the website PushSquare points out that Nick Baker accurately predicted the announcements of the State of Play program not long ago.
