Helldivers 2 has "limited slots" on the servers

Helldivers 2 has taken proportions that Sony and Arrowhead did not anticipate. After surpassing over 300 thousand simultaneous players on Steam, the studio released a statement on Discord, revealing that they are implementing a limit of 450 thousand operators connected at the same time.

The decision comes after numerous attempts by the developer, who, through multiple updates, sought to deliver greater stability in the gameplay experience for the community. This has not yet been achieved, and for this reason, it was necessary to take this measure.

There is still a lack of data regarding engagement on the PS5 and overall sales, but Helldivers 2 has apparently pleasantly surprised its creators and the community.
