Helldivers 2 sold close to 1 million units in 2 days

Arrowhead Game Studios released Helldivers 2 for PlayStation 5 and PC, through Steam, a service game supported by PlayStation and enthusiastically received by fans of cooperative third-person action games.

Since its launch on February 8, Helldivers 2 has climbed the list of most played games on Steam, reaching nearly 156 thousand players simultaneously, with an average player rating of 77%. This is a significant improvement from the 53% on launch day when players expressed dissatisfaction with initial issues.

Through the social network X, Johan Pilestedt, the creative director of Helldivers 2, is responding to messages from followers and shared that about 1 million units were sold in the first two days of availability. Additionally, he revealed that they recorded a peak of 220 thousand players at the same time, with appoximately half of the players playing the PS5 version.
