The Last of Us 2 comes to PS5 with a guitar mode and more

Titled “The Last of Us Part 2: Remastered,” this enchanced edition introduces a novel gameplay experience known as “No Return,” a roguelike survival mode where players must demonstrate their skills in unpredictable encounters, immersing themselves in a completely reimagines combat system.

Each playthrough presents a fresh opportunity to explore the varied rewards available in this roguelike adventure, embracing the unpredictable nature of the genre. Progress in this mode involves unlocking new characters, skins and more.

Guitar Mode?

Responding to fan favorites, Naughty Dog also unveiled a “Guitar-Free Mode,” allowing players to master the strings, unlock instruments, utilize FX pedals to shape their performance, and assume control of different characters.

Graphics, DualSense, and Performance

Adhering to the essence of a remaster, The Last of Us 2 Remastered boasts enchanced graphics, including native 4K resolution in Fidelity Mode, 1440p with upscale to 4K in Performance Mode, and unlocked frame rate option for VRR-compatible TVs.

The upgrade won´t require a full priced purchase, as Sony ensures a paid upgrade path priced at $10. Additionally, players can seamlessly import their saves from PS4 to PS5. Finally, an exclusive lauch special edition has been unveiled, featuring a steelbook and other enticing extras.
