MARCUS LEHTO, BETTLEFIELD GAME DIRECTOR HAS LEFT EA
The game director just departed from Ridgeline Games and Battlefield franchise.
Marcus Lehto, co-creator of Halo and one of the minds behind the recent Battlefield’s games, has announced his departure from EA and Ridgeline Games.
Initially spotted by @DANNYonPC on X, posting screenshots showing the diference of Lehto’s profile before and after his departure from EA.
Seems like @game_fabricator has left EA, removing all references of battlefield from his bio, problems are starting already?

Earlier, Marcus Lehto confirmed on his Facebook page that he had left the job at Eletronic Arts and Ridgeline Games in Seattle. Now, the big question his, did he left the studio himself or did the studio shut down. After the lauch of Battlefield 2042, Lehto joined EA, with the porpuse of adding more storytelling into Battlefield games, becoming the Creative Director of Ridgeline Games a few months after his official announcement.
EA has confirmed that it was working on a new Battlefield game wich will be a “reimagination of Battlefield”.
