Partner Showcase will focus on games from partner studios and publishers for the Switch

After weeks of rumors and speculation, Nintendo has finally announced a new Direct for February 21st, at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST.
Specifically, a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, wich will be focused on games and projects from third-party developers and publishers for the Nintendo Switch planned for the first half of 2024.

In other words, it’s likely that we won’t see any new games developed by Nintendo itself or part of its intellectual properties. The presentation is estimated to last around 25 minutes and will not be broadcasted live, instead, it will be posted as a VOD on Nintendo’s official YouTube channels.
The announcement doesn’t provide information about any specific games that will be showcased during the event, but many are hopeful for an announcement related to at leat one of the games that Microsoft has confirmed will be released for the Switch and PS5.
