To no one's surprise, Skull and Bones flops on Metacritic
The new Ubisoft game, Skull and Bones, disappoints and only receives an average score of 64 on the review aggregator
Skull and Bones gained an almost folkloric status over the years, and many doubted if it would ever be released. Well, looking at its Metacritic score, maybe it would have been better if it hadn’t been released after all…
After numerous delays and production issues, Ubisoft’s latest game is among us, receiving predominantly unfavorable scores from players and mixed reviews from critics.

As of the publication date of this news, the pirate game had a score of only 64 on PC, where it received the most reviews, totaling 12. The receipton was similar on Xbox, where the game had an average score of 65 from 5 reviews. Finally, it performed better on the PS5, with an average score of 72 from 5 reviews.
Among players, things were even worse, as Skull and Bones received a score of 30 from 377 user reviews. The main complaints from both the audience and journalists revolve around the shallow narrative, lack of personality, and tedious gameplay.
