Rust celebrates 10 years with incredible player numbers

With frequent updates and many plans for 2024, Rust continues its successful journey

Rust celebrates 10 years since its release, and after 16 million downloads, the game is better than ever.

Since December 2013, the game has had 244,000 players at its peak on Steam, received over 370 update patches, and even donated more than $1.7 million to charity.

The most impressive aspect is that the development team doesn’t rest, and even in the early days of 2024, we’ve already had the announcement of an update on social media X, as you can see above.

Starting in February, we will have even more inventory space, as it will be possible to build a backpack. Over the next few months, we will also see improvements in various fields, from underwater exploration to enhancements in artificial intelligence.
