Sledgehammer Games will release a new Call of Duty only in 2027
After a year of working from home, the responsibility for the 2027 Call of Duty falls to Sledgehammer Games

After the somewhat lukewarm reception of the last Call of Duty, many were wondering about the next steps for its developer, Sledgehammer Games. However, we know that they will only be in charge of the 2027 COD.
According to Insider Gaming, the studio is leaving California, USA, and moving to a smaller office. In the meantime, they will be working from home, returning to in-person work only at the end of 2024.
