The source code of GTA 5 leaks and reveals that Bully 2 was in production

The wave of leaks hits GTA 5 with privileged data and information about the popular Rockstar game and other titles

As if the massive leak of over 100GB of Rockstar Games files last year wasn’t enough, more data has now leaked in its entirety, and this time it includes the source code of GTA 5.

According to information shared on social media, the highly anticipated sequel to Bully was in development. Additionally, the leaked data includes the Python code for GTA 6, revealing internal details of the game, as well as information about possible story mode expansions for GTA V that were ultimately canceled.

One of the leaked pieces of information revealed the map of AGENT, an IP from Rockstar that began development in 2007 but never saw the light of day.

It has also been leaked that Grand Theft Auto V was supposed to have eight DLCs, namely: Manhunt, Norman, Relationship, Enterprise, Prologue, Agent Trevor, Assassination, and Liberty City. Additionally, the initial conceptual art for the original GTA 5 map has also surfaced.

But that’s not all, lines of code reveal plans for GTA: Tokyo for PS2 and Midnight Club 2, both of wich were also canceled. It seems that Rockstar had various projects that were either modified or scrapped over time. However, according to the leaks, with the success of GTA Online, these supposed expansions were scrapped, and unfortunately, we may never know what additional content was intended to be added to the game.

There are still no confirmations regerding the individual responsible for the leaks, but rumours suggest it may be someone ‘known’ to Rockstar.
