The Syndicat des Travailleurs du Jeu Vidéo (STJV), the video game workers union in France, announced plans for a strike, wich began in the past Wednesday (14th) earlier this month.

In the statement, the STJV mentioned that “management offered us a budget for raises below inflation, for the second consecutive year:” They added that a company that “decides to make employees pay to increase its profits is simply unacceptable.”

A few days ago, the STJV posted more details on Twitter. They stated that the start of the strike would be organized in the studios of Annecy, Montepellier, and Paris. The STJV also emphasized that Ubisoft “ continues to make profits” suggesting that it has the potential to increase salaries.
