WITHOUT PVP COMBAT, RISE OF THE RONIN WILL HAVE AN ONLINE COOPERATIVE MODE
With three difficulty levels, Team Ninja has brought exciting new features regarding the gameplay of Rise of the Ronin
With just a few weeks left until the arrival of Rise of the Ronin, Team Ninja has shared some exciting details about the studio’s new action-adventure game.
Unlike other IPs such as Nioh and Wo Long, Rise of the Ronin will not feature PvP combat. Instead, a group of up to 3 players will be able to come together in the cooperative multiplayer mode to embark on adventures within the main campaign.
The information was disclosed during a question and answer session on the game’s official PlayStation website.
Furthermore, the gameplay will feature three difficulty levels: easy, normal, and hard (respectively called Dawn, Dus, and Twilight) - with the option to change them at any time. In the Dawn difficulty, players can unlock additional settings such as the option to increase health recovery with medicines and reduce Ki loss during attacks.

Regarding character customization, players can freely create their character using visual elements such as face and body shape, as well as hair, voice and more.
To further increase the hype, developers shared a new trailer last week with details on the combat system, wich will blend melee wepon mechanics with firearms.
Rise of the Ronin arrives on March 22 exclusively on PlayStation 5.
