The writing of the scripts for the series of God of War and Horizon are in progress

In recent times, PlayStation has heavily invested in television and film adaptations of its franchises. The Uncharted movie, The Last of Us series, Gran Turismo, and Twisted Metal are some of the recent projects.

During CES 2024, an event held in Las Vegas, the president of Sony Pictures Television Studios, Katherine Pope, provided an update on the status of the upcoming projects, God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn series, explaining that the scripts are progressing after the ending of the writer’s strike.

“We’re also delighted to have writing underway on two new IP-based projects God of War for Prime Video and Horizon Zero Down at Netflix. Those are coming along with a few other highly anticipated series, including the fourth seson of The Boys and the final season of Cobra Kai.”

It remains to be known wich actors will play the main roles in both series.
