Xbox announces event and promises 10 minutes of Indiana Jones and more
The Xbox Developer Direct for 2024 already has an exact date scheduled to take place
On this Tuesday (9), Xbox announced its first event of 2024: the Developer Direct, which in 2023 took place during the same period.
The broadcast for this year already has an exact date and some preliminary information to gauge expectations, including the promise of 10 minutes of Indiana Jones, developed by Bethesda’s Machine Games.
The event will take plane on January 18, 2024, at 12PM PT and promises ‘more details on a selection of highly anticipated games coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass.

Avowed, the upcoming major RPG from Obsidian, will have the first details of the ‘gameplay experience’ in this world ‘set in the vibrant and fantastic land of Living Lands’.
Another promise is Ara: History Untold, from Oxide Games, a studio founded by veterans in the strategy genre and creators responsible for classics like Civilization V.
Hellblade 2 will also be featured in the presentation, showcasing ‘behind-the-scenes at the studio in cambridge, England, for more details on how they are developing’ the game and the ‘meticulous care’ of the team.

Finally, right after the main event, The Elder Scrolls Online will have its own presentation on the same day, focusing on the upcoming major expansion of the game, ‘featuring a new zone, narrative, and other key features’ arriving in the biggest update of this year.
